We use modern technology such as 3D xrays, intraoral photos, and digital scanners which allows us to communicate more effectively any dental issues present and the best course of action to correct the issues. All of aspects of our new patient visit can be customized if you have a specific concern or issue that you would like the doctor or hygienist to focus on. Your first visit will involve three parts:
Comprehensive Dental Examination
During your comprehensive exam, your dentist will perform an oral cancer screening along with an in-depth evaluation of your past dental care and your current dental needs so together you can create a custom care plan specific to your dental goals.
Radiographic Dental Examination
X-rays will be taken to help us look for cavities and other oral health problems that cannot be seen during the clinical exam.
Routine Dental Cleaning (Prophylaxis)
This part of your appointment allows your hygienist to monitor your oral health and based on the dental records we collect, we will decide which type of cleaning will be best suited to promote healthy gums and teeth in your mouth. At the end of your appointment, we will develop a personalized prevention plan to maintain your oral hygiene at home between visits.
